There are so much things happening today in the Modern book industry SIMULTANEOUSLY.

From online piracy to attention saturation to instant gratification to scam publishing-companies online to long-tail sweeping by the Amazon to red ocean drowning to infinite book-storage online to social media hooking to augmented reality to chatbots marketing to fake reviews to superficial best-selling lists to drastic algorithm changes to competitive automation to discoverability-vs-piracy debate to dynamic pricing to password-protected promotion to online ads to copyright-legislation updating & so on.

It's very hard to tell the Book industry's exact Future, especially in TODAY.

But one thing, in my opinion, is clear. And that is about a Farewell to the Print books: they are going to attain the status of things in the Museum.
